Injection molding products, whether with plastic or rubber, involves heating the material in the barrel until it reaches a molten state and then injecting it into one or more mold cavities. This process solidifies the material into the desired shape part, conforming precisely to the mold's contours.

Rapid Injection Molding

Rapid Injection Molding (RIM) assists with bridge tooling production for quick turnaround on injection-molded parts using P20 alloy, aluminum, or steel tools. Tooling can typically support 25-100 shots or more, depending on part geometry. RIM achieves high accuracy tolerances of ±0.005” (0.127mm) for your rapid injection molding projects.

RIM technology is ideal for customers needing 100 parts or potentially 10,000 or more, with tooling and first-article samples ready within 32 days. RIM offers numerous options, including fully functional components, family tooling, insert molding, multi-cavity tooling, two-shot molding, ultrasonic welding, and assembly.
